Terms of service

The service

Tailorleaf Resume ("Tailorleaf", "we") helps you keep one master resume and make a copy of it for each job you apply to. By making an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Your account

You sign in with Google, an email link or a passkey. Keep access to your sign-in safe; you're responsible for what happens in your account. One free trial per person: making extra accounts to get more trials isn't allowed.

Your content

Your resumes, job postings, letters and notes are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you, including sending them to the AI providers listed in our privacy policy when you use an AI feature. We don't claim any ownership and we don't use your content to advertise.

You're responsible for what you put in your resume and send to employers. Tailorleaf suggests wording, but you decide what's true and what to send. Check everything before you apply.

Plans and payment

• The free trial gives you every Pro feature for 7 days, or less if you use the AI features heavily. No card is needed.
• Base and Pro are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in US dollars through Stripe. They renew until you cancel.
• You can change plans or cancel any time from Plan and billing in the app. See refunds and cancelling.
• Each plan includes fair use of the AI features. If an account goes past what a person would normally use in a month, AI features pause until the next month; everything else keeps working.
• We may change prices. We'll tell you by email at least 30 days before a change affects your next renewal.

Fair use

Don't use Tailorleaf to break the law, to send spam, to scrape or overload the service, to get around its limits, or to make resumes that misrepresent someone else. We may pause or close accounts that do.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Tailorleaf running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties. AI suggestions can be wrong. We may add, change or remove features; if we ever shut the service down, we'll give you at least 30 days to download your resumes.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, such as a missed job, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can stop using Tailorleaf at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why.
