Privacy policy
What we keep, why, and who else sees it.
What we keep
- Your email address and sign-in details, to know it's you.
- What you put in: your master resume, the jobs and postings you add, tailored copies, cover letters, interview notes, and files you upload or export.
- Your plan and its billing status. Card details go to Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- For each share link you make: how many times it was opened and when last. Nothing about the person who opened it.
- Basic service logs (such as errors) to keep things working. This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no ads.
Why
Only to run Tailorleaf for you: store your resume, tailor it, export it, bill your plan, and keep the service safe from abuse. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
We use a small set of providers to run the service. Each gets only what it needs:
- Cloudflare: hosting, the database and file storage.
- WorkOS: sign-in.
- Stripe: payments and billing.
- Anthropic: reading uploaded resumes and postings, and the writing features, when you use them.
- TypeSafe (Jev): picking the bullets and skills that fit a job, when you tailor a resume.
The AI providers process your content to answer the request and don't use it to train their models under our agreements with them.
Your choices
- Edit or delete anything in your resume at any time.
- Turn off a share link whenever you like; it stops working at once.
- Download your resume as Word or plain text on any plan.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to delete your account and everything in it, at support@tailorleaf.com. We'll do it within 30 days.
Keeping it safe
Your data is only reachable through your own signed-in account, and every connection is encrypted. Share links use long random addresses that can't be guessed and aren't indexed by search engines.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
